Scenario Chinese (Ⅰ) for beginning and intermediate students is equipped with 20 lessons, divided into two books, each 10 lessons. The stories are adopted from short TV episodes Stories in Life which shows local Beijingers’ everyday life. Each lesson consists of story text, new words, explanation and notes, and exercises (exercises focus on listening, speaking and new words). Each book has 2 DVDs, 1 slow- recorded MP3 for teachers and students.
