This book includes a long introductory essay and a selection of 200 colour photographs taken by the author during the 32 years of his travels in China. The work was selected from 3,000 works put forward by Chinese publishers in order to celebrate thirty years of economic reform. During the thirty years, China has undergone enormous changes, ranging from the improving of people’s daily life to the take-off of economy, and to the reform of government. In this book, the author not only records the changes through his camera, but expresses his insights into China.
